These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the KartX Customer, Partner (Shop Owner), Delivery Partner, and Admin applications (together, the "Services"), operated by KartX ("we", "us", "our").

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order on KartX. Shop owners and delivery partners must provide accurate identity and business information during registration.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

3. Orders and Payments

• Product prices, availability, and delivery charges are set by individual shop owners and may vary by location.
• Orders are subject to acceptance by the shop owner and availability of a delivery partner.
• Payments can be made via UPI, card, net banking, wallets, or Cash on Delivery, where available.
• A handling charge and distance-based delivery fee may apply to each order, as displayed at checkout.
• A minimum order value may apply and will be shown at checkout if your cart does not meet it.

4. Coupons and Referral Discounts

• Coupon codes are subject to the minimum order value, maximum discount, expiry date, and per-user usage limit specified for that coupon, and may be withdrawn or modified at any time.
• New customers may receive a one-time percentage discount on their first order when signing up with a valid referral code. This discount can only be used once per account and is forfeited once used, regardless of order outcome.
• KartX reserves the right to cancel any order, coupon, or referral discount suspected of misuse, fraud, or abuse of the referral or coupon system.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Orders may be cancelled by the customer before the delivery partner has physically picked up the order. Once an order has been picked up, cancellation may not be possible and requires contacting support. Refunds for prepaid orders that are cancelled or undelivered will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with our payment partner's refund policies.

6. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control. A one-time verification code (OTP) is used to confirm pickup from the shop and delivery to the customer, for security purposes.

7. Ratings and Reviews

After an order is delivered, customers may rate the shop and the delivery partner. Ratings must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain abusive, defamatory, or false content. KartX reserves the right to remove reviews that violate this policy. Ratings contribute to a shop's or delivery partner's publicly visible average rating.

8. Shop Owner (Partner) Responsibilities

• Shop owners must list products accurately, including price, quantity, availability, and product images.
• Shop owners are responsible for the quality and safety of products sold through the platform.
• Shop registrations are subject to review and approval by KartX Admin, based on submitted business documents.

9. Delivery Partner Responsibilities

• Delivery partners must provide valid identity and vehicle documents for verification before onboarding.
• Delivery partners are expected to handle orders professionally and deliver them to the correct recipient.
• Earnings are calculated based on completed deliveries and any applicable incentives, as shown in the Delivery app.

10. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time using the "Delete My Account" option in the app, or by contacting support. Deletion is irreversible and removes your saved data from our systems, subject to any legal or regulatory record-keeping requirements that may require us to retain certain transaction records.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Services, including but not limited to: providing false information, attempting to access other users' accounts, interfering with the platform's operation, submitting fraudulent reviews, abusing coupon or referral systems, or engaging in fraudulent transactions.

12. Limitation of Liability

KartX acts as a platform connecting customers, shop owners, and delivery partners. We are not directly responsible for the quality of products sold by shop owners or for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KartX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

13. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide fraudulent information, misuse coupons/referrals, or misuse the Services, at our discretion.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
